What is love ?

According to a dictionary,love is a strong affection which consist of attraction and care towards someone .However,what kind of love that people around us practice ? 

According to a researcher named John Alan Lee ,there are 6 type of love in this world -3 primary type ( eros ,ludus,storge) and another 3 secondary type of love (pragma,mania ,agape)

Firstly ,we have Eros love which is named from a greek word 'erotic'.Eros love is a romantic love with high passion and physical contact longing .It is a love at first sight with high commitment as eros lover believe that there is only one true love in this world for them - They highly value emotion and desire in their relationship.Eros lover have sexual intercourse in the early period of their relationship .The love making is usually passionate and exciting Despite the fact that eros love sounds heavenly ,it is actually a dangerous love .

Second type of love is Ludus love  which is fun game alike love which is playful ,flirty with low commitment and high promiscuity as Ludus lover place pleasure in the first place - therefore ,their goal is always getting more amount of lover .Due to the nature of promiscuity in the relationship ,the level of intimacy is very low .

The third type of love is Storge .Storge love is a friendship based love .The sense of companionship is strong in this love and it deliver long term commitment .

The forth type of love is Pragma .This love is the combination of storge and ludus.It is a logical love where Pragma lover choose their partner based criteria  ( education level ,appearance etc ) for a long term relationship.

Next ,the fifth type of love is Mania love which is a special mixture of eros love with ludus love .It is a harmful and crazy love as it have high intensity of jealousy and dependence in Mania lover towards his / her lover.It is a very intense love till the Mania lover tend to be possessive to his / her lover due to the insecurity and anxious attachment  in themselves.This type of behavior could be a a symptom of mental illness.

Lastly ,the last type of love 'Agape' which is a mixture of eros and storge  is one of the most wanted type of love in this mortal world .The main point in this love is being selfless , generous in giving without asking anything in return.Agape lover tend to be happy to sacrifice for their lover as long as their lover feel happy with it .They are caring and gentle towards their partner like a blanket .This kind of love is also named as true love in the modern world .Other than that ,this love is said to be purest and noble love in the world.
